Linear power supplies take an AC input, step down the voltage via a transformer, then rectify and filter the input into a direct current output.

Switching power supplies take an AC input, but rectifies and filters into DC first.  Next this DC power is switched to a higher frequency through a switching circuit. It steps down the voltage with a transformer, then is rectified and filtered into a DC output. 

1) Reduces the efficiency of power supply.

2) Noise interference will cause instability of audio and video.

3) It will increase the heating and reduce the lifetime.

4) Interferes with the logic circuit and affect the normal operation of circuit.

Temperature coefficient describes the relative change of a physical property which is associated with temperature variation.

Slew rate is defined as the rate of voltage or current change per unit time.

Transient recovery time is a duration required for the power supply to recover to its specified level after loading.

1) Please set Communication Protocol to MODBUS on System Configuration, if communicating via LAN port.  

2) Please confirm Baud Rate on both System Configuration and N6900 application software, if communicating via RS232 interface.

3) Please confirm ID and Baud Rate on both System Configuration and N6900 application software, if communicating via CAN interface.

1) The Ethernet cable was plugged into EXTEND port.

2) There is OTP warning on the screen. Please calibrate the temperature.

N6900 is under external control. Please restore factory setting and restart N6900.

1) The OVP value is improperly set.  

2) The input voltage exceeds N6900 rated voltage.

1) Please set the Operation Mode to High Accuracy on Application Setting. 

2) Please calibrate the device.
